Story Title: My cousin, my best friend…
By: Tom Anderson
Frank was my cousin, but he was also one of the best friends I ever had. The war isn’t over. It killed Frank, and there are many more like him. The next time you talk to a Vet, be sure to thank them for their service, especially the ones from the Vietnam era.
I was thinking back the other day of all the crazy things I have done in my life and I realized that most of them I did with Frank. However, one of my best memories was that spring night in 2006 when I rode up to visit Frank and we spent a couple of hours burning up the country roads around Columbus, me on my Heritage, Frank on his Springer and Nathan on his Ninja.
Also I cherish the hours Frank and I spent drinking coffee at Cracker Barrel while my Electra Glide was being serviced at Mann’s and the 2 times he picked out his next bike on the showroom while waiting with me. And we always hugged and told each other I love you before I rode off.
I miss you brother, you left a big hole in my life, but I understand.
I will always love you.
Tom

We were sorry to hear of Frankies passing. We hope the family will find comfort in their faith in the loss of their loved one. We remember Frankie most while in elementary school, as well as his brothers and sisters. As a family we have not kept in touch with everyone, but that doesn’t mean you are forgotten. Again to all the family our deepest sympathy in the loss of Frankie Joe. Cousins, Joe, Jim and Tim

My deepest condolences to Francis and his family. I have many fond memories of visiting Margaret at the farm. One that often comes to mind is when I was there sledding on Francis’ new sled. As we were plummeting down the hill a pig ran in front of us. I swerved to miss the pig and hit a tree instead, damaging the new sled. Francis was quite gracious about the event, but was not so nice after I left!
My deepest condolences to the family.

To all the beautiful people that left such wonderful condolences. I was blessed to know Frank but for two years and his wife for only six weeks. I will fight till my dying day for those suffering with PTSD. It took the life of my veteran husband Frank. My mission is PTSD awareness/education/prevention. I have an ache in my heart that will never go away..I love you and will always miss you my beloved husband.
